Discipline Validation Tables

Administration > General Setup > District > Validation Tables > select Discipline

In order for you to be able to submit discipline data correctly in the Discipline, Crime and Violence report, make sure that you have the following Discipline validation tables setup properly.

Table

Notes

Incident Codes

Used for Offense Code 1, Offense Code 2 and Offense Code 3 in the DCV Report. Update the Severity Order for each Incident Code with a State Code Equiv. Severity Order is used to determine Offense Code 2 and Offense Code 3 when there are multiple offenses on an incident. The incident with the highest Severity Order will be considered Offense Code 2.

Offense Actions

Used to determine Final Division Discipline/Sanction. Update the Severity Order for each Offense Action with a State Code Equiv. The action with the highest Severity Order is reported in the DCV report's Final Division Discipline/Sanction field.

District Discipline Setup

Administration > Interventions Setup > Behavior > Behavior District Configuration

You may choose to Track Occurrences or not Track Occurrences for Discipline Incident Actions. The Multiple Offenses field must be checked so that the Discipline, Crime and Violence Report can include the Primary Offense, Offense Code 2 and Offense Code 3.
