students

This resource represents an individual for whom instruction, services, and/or care are provided in an early childhood, elementary or secondary educational program under the jurisdiction of a school, education agency, or other institution or program. A student is a person who has been enrolled in a school or other educational institution.

Selection Criteria

Includes any student with an enrollment entryDate in the current school year for a published school:

  • One record for each student with at least one studentSchoolAssociation in the current school year at a published school

  • Student must have ADA value (reg_programs.program_value, program_id 146, field_number 4) for current school year

  • Excluded if student marked for exclude from reporting or from Ed-Fi

Students who attended the previous year but not this year (Status A Leavers) are not published here

  • Published in AsOfStatusALeavers, which includes the identifying info normally included in Students

Charter school waitlisted students are not published here

  • Published in StudentApplications, which includes the identifying info normally included in Students

  • Does not include a StudentUniqueId reference

  • See waitlisted students selection criteria in StudentApplications resource

ChildFind students are all published here

  • Those who are not enrolled are not published in StudentSchoolAssociations

    • Non-enrolled must be published in studentEdcationOrganizationResponsibilityAssociations

    • Responsibility = 'Evaluation'

    • Not required for ChildFind students who are enrolled

  • All ChildFind students are published in studentSpecialEducationProgramEligibilityAssociations

    • Resource doe not have name and DOB

    • It does have a StudentUniqueId reference

Resource Output

    • Waitlist Effective Date is on or before count date
