August 2022 Major Maintenance Release

Updated the TX_415 download for extended year submission to assign students 08 or 09 for PassFailCredit instead of 00 as applicable:

• 08 - student has earned credit, but the mark is not passing
• 09 - student has no marks and has not earned credit

Updated the Truancy calculation to revise truancy data for students with a prevention indicator and date.

Updated the TREx Export - School Enrollment download for grade promotions:

• When a building does not have a state code.
• When a student has been promoted two grades in one year.

Updated the extended year submission for the student program to prevent the Gifted/Talented field from outputting blank values.

Added a TSDS pre-scan rule that identifies improperly configured languages with empty state code equivalents.

Updated the Student Program extract for the Child Find submission to not output the Instructional Track tag from the TX_STUDENT_CHILD_FIND table if it is null or blank.

Updated the TSDS download for Student Child Find submission to only calculate absences through the initial evaluation date if there is an initial evaluation date. It will continue calculating through the prompt end date if there is no evaluation date.

Added the Eligibility Delay Reason data element to the TSDS Child Find page and to the Child Find submission TSDS Download and TSDS Extract records.

Updated the TSDS Extract to determine the current school year versus the prior school year based on the Last School Date value from the Texas Configuration validation table.

Updated the TEDS Extract to determine the current school year versus the prior school year based on the Last School Date value from the Texas Configuration validation table.

Added the Dyslexia Screening Exception Reason validation table, program, and user-defined field.

Added the Dyslexia Screening Exception Reason field to the student TX_101 - Demographic (101) download.

Updated the TEDS Extract to report a StudentSchoolAssociation record for ADA 9 students with a crisis code of 10A or 10B, including ADA 9 students who are Residential Facility Tracker students.

Added the TXHome-Language data element to the SPPI-14 submission records. The field will be populated using the state code equivalent of the student’s Home Language from the Registration page.

The existing TREx Export - New page has been renamed to TREx Export. The existing TREx Export (the legacy TREx) page has been removed from the menu.

Added the Financial Application Code data element to the TX_203 download and the Student Graduation Extension records (TEDS Extract).

Updated the TSDS Extract schema as per the 2023 school year definition.

Updated the TX PEIMS Schema for the 2023 school year.

Added the SSSP Team Review checkbox to the PEIMS Discipline Information incident-level user-defined page.

Added the SSSP Team Review field to the Discipline (TX_425) Download, TEDS Discipline Incident Association Extension extract, Student Download Summary (for TX_425), and Student Download Search (for TX_425).

Updated the processing to allow Final Grade and Course Grade as non-numeric values.

The existing TREx Export option from the Student Summary page has been re-routed to the new version of TREx Export.

Added two validation rules (30305-0027 and 30305-0028) for the Class Roster - Winter cross-validation.

Created the 2022 STAAR Grades 3-8 upload to match SPECs with Cambium. Note that writing has been removed from the upload. Students will match based on the State ID and/or Unique ID.
