Verifying that All Students Have Been Rolled

You can use the advanced search to verify that all students were processed by the rollover.

To search for students who were not rolled:

1. In the current year environment, select Registration > Entry & Reports > Student Demographic > Registration to display the Student Search page.
2. Click Advanced.
3. In the Advanced Search Criteria section, define criteria to search for students who have a current year entry/withdrawal record that was not closed.
   For current school year rollovers (in this example, 2016 was the year just rolled):

   For summer school rollovers (in this example, 2016 was the year just rolled):

4. Click Load.
5. Review the records of any students displayed in the Search Results list to determine why they were not rolled by a rollover criteria.

Note on Searching in Prior Year Environments

The search results for student searches include building and grade information. This affects the search results that you will find when searching in the prior year.

• When you search in the prior year environment, the search uses the building and grade from the entry/withdrawal records for that school year. Thus, the search for a student in a prior year will return the student only if the student has an entry/withdrawal record for that school year.
• When you search in the current year environment, the search uses the building and grade from the student's Registration record. Thus, the search will return any student who meets your filter regardless of whether or not the student has entry/withdrawal information for the current year.
