Textbooks Page

Use this page to enter information on the textbooks that are billed to students in your district. These billings are processed through eSchoolPlus's Fees options.

View textbook records

Select Administration > Fees Setup > Setup > Textbooks.
If needed, enter criteria on the search page for a Simple or Advanced Search, and then click Load.
On the Search Results panel, click the textbook's link.

Add textbook records

Select Administration > Fees Setup > Setup > Textbooks.
Click Add at the top right of the page.
On the Textbooks page, complete the fields.
Click Save.

Change textbook records

Select Administration > Fees Setup > Setup > Textbooks.
If needed, enter criteria on the search page for a Simple or Advanced Search, and then click Load.
On the Search Results panel, click the textbook's link.
On the Textbooks page's Save Options panel, select the following checkbox if you want to update fee groups that contain the current textbook record: Update fee groups on save.
On the Textbooks panel, change the field values as needed.
Click Save.

Delete textbook records

Select Administration > Fees Setup > Setup > Textbooks.
If needed, enter criteria on the search page for a Simple or Advanced Search, and then click Load.
Select the
(Delete) checkbox for each record to delete.
Click Save.
Click Yes.

This panel only displays when you are updating existing records.

Description

Update fee groups on save

Checked if the fee groups that include the current textbook should be updated when you click Save to save the record.

This option updates the fee groups that include the textbook. It does not update the fees already billed to students.

Textbooks Panel

Field	Description
Building	Building that uses the textbook. When you select textbooks for a fee group, you can only select books defined for the building that uses the fee group.
Textbook Code	Code identifying the textbook. Character/10
Description	Text describing the textbook, usually the title. Character/255
Unit Cost	Cost that students should be charged for the textbook, for example, 30.00. Decimal/7,2
Department	Department that uses this textbook. When you select textbooks for a fee group, you can only select books defined for the department assigned to the course. If the course is not assigned to a department, you can select a textbook from any department. If a textbook does not have a department associated with it, the book can be assigned to any course, regardless of its department.
ISBN Number	ISBN number of this textbook. Character/16
Publisher	Publisher of the textbook. Character/255
Comment	Comments about the textbook. Character/255
