Run Download Page

Use this page to process a download interface to create a data file based on the interface definition. When the program has run, the data files specified in the interface headers will be created in your report directory.

Run Download Utility

  1. Select Administration from the main menu, select Utilities submenu, select Download & Upload, and then select Run Download.
  2. Specify the calculation options.
  3. Click Run.
  4. To locate the download file, click Tasks/Reports on the Navigation bar. The file will be listed on the Tasks and Reports page's Reports panel.

Interface ID

Select the interface you want to run.

Start Date

If you are processing an interface header for which you selected the Change Flag, indicate the date to use to select records for a partial download of Registration information. When student information is maintained, added, or deleted in Registration, a date is stored which indicates the date on which the change was made and the type of change which was completed. For example, if you enter the date 02/09/2015, the program checks the Interface Student (ltdb_interface_stu) table in order to determine which student records were added, added and deleted, or changed since that date. Only records which have been maintained will be downloaded.

To download all records, leave this field blank. Also, leave this field blank if the interface has no headers that have the Change Flag selected.

Sort Panel

Use the Sort panel to specify how records should be ordered in a report. You enter lines of sort criteria; the system compares your sort criteria against the corresponding fields in the records being searched and displays records in either ascending or descending order based on the sort fields.
