HAC District Configuration - Alternate Language Page

On this page:

Use this page to enter alternate language translations for field labels, page titles, error messages, and other text in Home Access Center. The page is divided into panels that correspond to the pages, windows, menus, onscreen messages, and other elements of HAC's user interface.

When the translations of all of the text included in a panel's sections are entered and saved, the Complete message on the panel's bar changes from No to Yes. If all of the panels display Yes, the translation is complete.

If needed, you can use the Copy icon to download an existing translation as the start for a new translation. This includes translations your district has defined, as well the default English and Spanish translations provided by PowerSchool.

  • To copy the translations for all pages click Copy at the top of the page.
  • To copy translations for individual panels and sections by clicking Copy on the panel or section.

Home Access Center does not display alternate language report card student data. You can print alternate language report cards if you define alternate language descriptions for mark reporting setups. Home Access Center does not use those translations.
