Erase Scheduled Study Halls Page

Use this page to delete one or more study halls for groups of students. You can also delete all study halls for a building.

Caution

This option is extremely powerful. Back up your data or run a Save Scheduling run before proceeding.

Erase scheduled study halls

  1. Select Scheduling > Student Schedules > Student Utilities > Erase Scheduled Study Halls.
  2. Select the correct building.
    For field descriptions, refer to the Fields section below.
  3. Select the Erase All Scheduled Study Halls checkbox if you want all scheduled study halls to be erased. Proceed to Step 5.
  4. In the Courses section, select the study halls course-sections to erase.
  5. In the Filter panel, enter criteria identifying the students whose study halls should be erased, then click Load to run the search.
    • To limit the search to students in your building, identify the building in your search criteria.
  6. In the Students Affected panel, review the list of students.
  7. If a student should not be included, select the student's
     (Delete) checkbox, then click
     (Delete) on the Students Affected bar.
  8. Click Run.
  9. Use the Tasks/Reports options on the Navigation bar to view task status and retrieve reports.

Building

Building of the students who will have study halls erased.

Erase All Scheduled Study Halls

Checked if all study halls that are scheduled for the selected building should be erased. Unchecked if the utility should erase only the study halls selected in the Courses section.

Courses Section

Course

Code identifying the course in your building's catalog.

Section

The number of the specific course-section to erase.

Description

The course title or description.

(Delete)

To delete a record, select the row's Delete checkbox, then click Save.

Selected Students Panel

To delete a student, select the Delete checkbox, then click

(Delete) on the Selected Students bar.

Student ID

Student's identification number.

Name

Student's full name.

Building

Student's enrollment building as entered in Entry/Withdrawal.

Grade

Student's grade as entered in Entry/Withdrawal.

House/Team

Student's school house/team. House/teams are used to select students when scheduling courses.

Counselor

Number and name of the student's guidance counselor.

Status

Indicates the student's status in the current year: Active, Inactive, Pre-Registered, or Graduated.
