January 2025 Major Maintenance Release

Included the PSSA Science Grade 5 (PSSASCI5) to the Staff Student Subtest and Teacher Student Linkage download processing to ensure accurate data retrieval.

Updated the Language Code 1290 to populate for all EL vectors except 05 and vector 99 will be taking null values in the Extract. The Home Language and Native Language will be displayed on the Student Summary page.

When the feature flag is enabled and the state is PA, the ARRS-5 and ARRS-6 fields in the OCR Report will be based on the Arrested Count rather than the Action Code. By default, this behavior is disabled, but customers can enable and use the feature if desired.

Updated processing to retrieve the Arrest Counts based on the Arrested Code field in the Other Offender Information on the Offender Detail page.

Removed the warning message: “Student xxx has been in the US > 3 years; therefore, the value for Years in US Schools will be cleared in the download” for the US Enrollment Period from the log files and moved to the debug file.

Updated the Language Code to be populated for all EL vectors except for 05 and 99. The Home Language and Native Language will be displayed on the Student Summary page.

Updated the processing for the Economic Status fields in the Student Templates to set them to N if the student is a Virtual Student, and the following warning message will be logged in the log file.

Warning message: Student xxxx has MOI/Learning Location as Fully Remote/061, so Economic Status is set to N.

Additional Notes: A student is considered a fully virtual or remote student if enrolled in a full-time virtual academy in the Mode of Instruction Program or assigned to Learning Location Code 061 in the Learning Location Program.

Created a custom code, PAIU, to identify Intermediate Units. If a district has a custom code PAIU, the system validates each student's Enrolled Building State Code Equivalent against the Building Code in the Charter School/Intermediate Unit Building District Information validation table. If a matching record is found, the StateDistrict is set to the corresponding AUN Code in the Student Template. If no matching record exists, the student record is processed as usual.

Updated processing for the warning message: “Student is enrolled in a special education program but does not have an open disability vector” to not be displayed for students who are active in buildings that have not submitted their PIMS data in the PIMS Download Logs whereas it will be printing as usual in the other cases.
