Oregon State Reporting Validation Tables
Menu path: Select Administration from the main menu, select General Setup submenu, select District, and then select Validation Tables. You must select Oregon State Reporting for Applications and <Validation table name> for Validation Table.
You can display any Oregon State Reporting validation table to see a list of all existing codes. The Course Grade and Program Strand tables will be pre-populated by PowerSchool with the State Defined codes.

Career Experience | Used on the OR OPTE page to indicate what type of Career Related Experience a student has had. |
Course Grade | This table stores the valid marks for a course. The values in this table are used in the OPTE Submission to translate local marks to State Marks. |
Cumulative Enrollment | No longer used |
Essential Skills | Used on the OR Essential Skills page. |
Federal Placement | Used on the OR Special Education page. |
Highly Qualified | Used on the OR OPTE Information page to indicate a teacher's highly-qualified status. |
Not Highly Qualified | Used on the OR OPTE Information page to indicate why a teacher is not highly-qualified. |
OPTE Withdrawal Code Crosswalk | Because the OPTE Submission has different Withdrawal Code (Year End Status) values than other submissions, you need to translate your local Withdrawal Codes to the OPTE Codes. In the Code field, enter your local Withdrawal Code and enter the OPTE code in the State Code Equiv field. The OPTE Codes are:

Report Period | This table stores the submissions and their start and end dates for the current school year. The start and end dates help control which records are selected for submission to the State. DO NOT use 1/1/1900 as dates for start and end dates in this validation table. You must update the Report Period table each year to contain the correct dates for the current school year. |
