Reporting Contiguous Dates

For the Student Standing and Student Attribute – Date records, EMIS requires that contiguous dates are reported when values change for fields. For example, if a student's Percent of Time value changes to 50% on Monday 9/13/2015, the end date to report for the current setting is Sunday 9/12/2015, even though school does not meet on Sunday.

To correctly report data for EMIS, you must use contiguous dates when closing and opening records in the EMIS STUDENT STANDING PROGRAM and EMIS STUDENT ATTRIBUTE PROGRAM. Additionally, use contiguous dates in Entry/Withdrawal when transferring students to another building in the district or changing the student's grade.
