Student/Course Downloads, EMIS Submission File, and Student Download Summary

Updated processing of the Graduation Credits at Entry data element for the FN Student download and extract. This data element reports the total number of credits a student has earned toward graduation as of the beginning of the current school year.

  • The valid range for this count is from 00.00 to 99.99.

  • For continuing students, it includes all credits earned by the end of the previous school year and any credits earned over the summer.

  • For new students, the count includes all credits earned at previous schools and districts.

  • Students who have not earned any graduation credits will be reported with a default value of 0000.

  • Students with any earned credits will be reported with a value other than 0000, regardless of their grade level.

Additionally, for courses, the building type must have a State Code Equivalent value of 'H' for high school buildings. This setup should be done in the Building Types validation table.



Added the Updated Exit Status input field to source data for the updated exit status on the FS Record. This is reported for all student collections.

Added the R-<varies> district attribute to capture the core curriculum and instructional materials used for English Language Arts in grades pre-kindergarten through five, and the reading intervention programs used in grades pre-kindergarten through twelve.

  • Districts can add multiple records if using multiple products.
  • This attribute is reported in the initial, midyear, and final student collections.
