Test Scores Setup

PowerSchool provides Test Definitions for the state assessments you need to report through the Assessment Fact and Assessment Accommodation Modification Fact templates, including the appropriate setup of subtest scores with State Code Equiv values and association of subtests with Test Codes from the Test Definitions NY State Reporting validation table.

You can add your own Test Definitions, and you can add subtests, scores, and district-defined fields for the Test Definitions supplied by PowerSchool. The sections that follow walk you through the components of a Test Definition with navigation information explaining how to make changes. 

First, we will review the Test Definition characteristics necessary to report test information through the Student Download and Extracts options. PowerSchool Test Definitions will have these state reporting features in place. The next section will describe maintenance of Test Definitions.
