Use this page to maintain dates related to the staff member's employment. This information is used in the Staff Snapshot template as part of the Teacher-Course collection.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Teacher Hire Date | Date of the first board appointment the staff member received as a teacher in this Local Education Agency (LEA). |
Teacher Tenure Date | Date the staff member first received tenure as a teacher in this LEA. |
Exit Date | Date the staff member is no longer employed by the LEA. If the staff member returns to the LEA during the same school year, remove the Exit Date. |
Principal Hire Date | If the staff member has ever been appointed principal for this LEA by the school board, enter the date the appointment occurred. |
Principal Tenure Date | Date the staff member first received tenure as a principal for this LEA, if applicable. |
