Staff Dates District-Defined Page

Use this page to maintain dates related to the staff member's employment. This information is used in the Staff Snapshot template as part of the Teacher-Course collection.

Field

Description

Teacher Hire Date

Date of the first board appointment the staff member received as a teacher in this Local Education Agency (LEA).

Teacher Tenure Date

Date the staff member first received tenure as a teacher in this LEA.

Exit Date

Date the staff member is no longer employed by the LEA. If the staff member returns to the LEA during the same school year, remove the Exit Date.

Principal Hire Date

If the staff member has ever been appointed principal for this LEA by the school board, enter the date the appointment occurred.

Principal Tenure Date

Date the staff member first received tenure as a principal for this LEA, if applicable.
