Program Entry – Service Intensity
Service Intensity is the average number of hours per week the student participates in a particular program. The following table contains the programs in which you can enter a Service Intensity value:

You can use the service intensity option only if you have programs where this level of reporting is relevant. The Service Intensity value is tracked in the Program screen and is used in the NJ SMART Optional Program Enrollment Data submission.
The illustration below shows a program and the associated Service Intensity value for the program. Start and End Dates for the Service Intensity value are synchronized with the dates of the parent program. For example, the Alternative Education is a parent program and the Alternative Ed Service Intensity is a child program where you can enter the Service Intensity value.
