This page lets you view and update program-tracked demographic information used in the NJ SLEDS SID and state submission files.
Field | Description |

County – Resident | The New Jersey county where the student resides. (Program-tracked) |
County – Attending | The county where the student is attending school. (Program-tracked) |
School – Resident (override) | The resident school where the student would attend based on their permanent or other home address. (Program-tracked) |
School – Attending (override) | The school where the student is currently attending. (Program-tracked) |
District – Resident (override) | Student's resident district. (Program-tracked) |
District – Attending (override) | District where the student is currently attending. (Program-tracked) |
County – Receiving | The New Jersey county where the student is received if a sending/receiving relationship exists. (Program-tracked) |
School – Receiving (override) | Students' receiving school if a sending/receiving relationship exists. (Program-tracked) |
District – Receiving (override) | Students' receiving district if a sending/receiving relationship exists. (Program-tracked) |
Tuition Code | Program-tracked indicator of the source of tuition payment for a student. If the Tuition Code is 06, then the student's Attending District must be defined as a Choice District in the District-defined screen. (Program-tracked) |
Retained | Select if the student is repeating the current grade level. |
Eighth Technological Literacy | Select if the student has met the 8th Grade technological proficiency criteria per NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards 8.1. To meet this proficiency, the student either needs to take a district-level assessment or an evaluation as guided by the NJ Technology Assessment for Proficiency and Integration. (Program-tracked) |
Resident Municipal Code | Student's resident municipality as defined by the NJ Department of the Treasury. (Program-tracked) |
Immigrant Status | Indicates whether the student is categorized as an immigrant. To be classified as an "immigrant child or youth" based on NCLB law, the student needs to meet the following criteria:

Alternative Education | Indicates whether the student is enrolled in an alternative education program, defined as a comprehensive educational program delivered in a non-traditional learning environment that is both:

Title I Science | Indicates whether the student is receiving or is scheduled to receive Title I services in support of Science instruction. (Program-tracked) |
Title 1 Math | Indicates whether the student is receiving or is scheduled to receive Title I services in support of Math instruction. (Program-tracked) |
Title 1 Language | Indicates whether the student is receiving or is scheduled to receive Title I services in support of Language Arts Literacy instruction. (Program-tracked) |
NonPublic | Indicates whether the student has been parentally placed in a non-public school. The value shows whether the student is eligible for special education services. (Program-tracked) |
Military Connected | Indicates that the student's parent or guardian is on Active Duty, in the National Guard, or in the Reserve components of the U.S. military services. (Program-tracked) |
PARCC Student Identifier | Enter the PARCC Student ID. |
Gifted/Talented | Indicates the student's status as gifted/talented. (Program-tracked) |
ELA Graduation Pathway | Indicates status of the recent graduate's pathway to graduation for ELA. (Program-tracked) |
Math Graduation Pathway | Indicates status of the recent graduate's pathway to graduation for Math. (Program-tracked) |
