Fall Survey Summary

Processing

Label	Default Value
School Year	Required.
Count Date	Required. Enter the count date for the Fall Survey report.
Resident Districts	Radio button with All or Selected – if choose Selected – multiselect list of districts in the validation for 'NJDIS'. (reg_program_column.validation_table for state_code_equiv 'NJDIS')
Building	Radio button with All or Selected – if choose Selected - Multiselect list of buildings.
Group Reports By	Required. Dropdown with options: Res District – Building - Program Type Building – Program Type Res District – Building – Grade Building - Grade Res District – Building – Program Type – Grade Building – Program Type - Grade Res District – Building – Classification – Grade Building – Classification – Grade Res District – Building (Use this to show your totals by res district-building. This will make the totals appear as required in the Fall Survey) Res District Building (Use this to show your totals by building as they should appear in the Fall Survey Summary)
Free Lunch Codes	Required. Multiselect list of regtb_meal_status codes indicating that the student is free lunch.
Reduced Lunch Codes	Required. Multiselect list of regtb_meal_status codes indicating that the student is reduced lunch.
Use Classification or Program Codes	Indicates which codes you use to indicate your students are IEP
Codes not to include in IEP Counts	Required. If it includes Classification above then dropdown of codes used by the 'NJCLASS' (programs state code equiv) validation table for the program. Otherwise use dropdown of codes used by the 'NJPROG' (programs state code equiv) validation table for the program.
Shared Time Students	Required. Multiselect with options: No shared time students Use Curriculum codes Use Calendar codes Use Building codes Use Classification codes
Shared Time Codes	If Use Curriculum, Use Calendar, Use Classification or Use Building is selected – multiselect on Curriculum (regtb_curr_code) or multiselect on calendar (reg_calendars) or multiselect on buildings (reg_building) or multiselect on classifications (regtb_classify) If you select more than one option for Shared Time Students (example, Building & Curriculum). Then include dropdowns for both. For example, shared time students may be in building 1 with curriculumn codes 21, 22, 23. Note: If multi select on No shared time and a combination of others – then ignore the no shared time students selection.

Summary Report Details

Described below are descriptions for Pages 1-3 of the Summary Report.

Fall Survey - Page 1

Page 1 is the summary totals for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program and other subgroups. Page 4 displays similar information along with the Shared Time Totals if you have Shared Time Students.

The sample report was created by choosing the Building option in the Group Report By option field.

Tips:

If you included a group by Building – Program Type it would further group the summary information by Program Type.
If you group by Resident District – Building it will break the report with a Resident district and then include all the buildings for each Res District.

Section	Where in eSchoolPlus?
Grade column	The grades will be selected from the reg_grade.state code equiv column for the students Full Day Pre K – 3F or 4F Half Day Pre K – 3H or 4H Full Day Kinder – KF Half Day Kinder – KH Grade 1 – 01, Grade 2, 02, etc through Grade 12 – 12.
Economically Disadvantaged – Free Lunch	Count of students with Free Lunch in the current building / grade for the date being processed. Program Meal status has reg_program_column.state_code_equiv = 'NJMEAL'. Uses the codes listed in the free lunch prompt in the report to know which students to include.
Economically Disadvantaged – Reduced Lunch	Count of students with Reduced Lunch in the current building / grade for the date being processed. Program Meal status has reg_program_column.state_code_equiv = 'NJMEAL'. Uses the codes listed in the reduced lunch prompt in the report to know which students to include.
LEP Students	Count of students with LEP in the current building / grade for the date being processed. Program LEP has reg_program_column.state_code_equiv = 'NJLEP'. If they have a 'Y' in this program, then the student is included in the counts.
Migrant Students	Count of students with reg_personal.migrant = 'Y' in the current building / grade being processed.

Page 2 is the summary totals for the Full Time Students with IEP (by Grade Level). Page 5 displays similar information along with the Shared Time Totals if you have Shared Time Students.

The sample report was created using the Building option in the Group Report By field. It includes totals by ethnicity for students who are active in the NJCLASS program and are in a classification/program that is not listed in the Codes not to include for IEP prompt.

Page 3 is the summary totals for the Full Time Students with IEP (by IEP). Page 6 displays similar information along with the Shared Time Totals if you have Shared Time Students.

The sample report was created using the Building option in the Group Reports By field. It includes totals by ethnicity for students who are active in the NJCLASS program & are in a classification/program that is not listed in the Codes not to include for IEP prompt.

This report groups by IEP. If you ran the report by Building – Grade, it would show the grade in the Grade column also (and if you grouped even further, by Building – Grade – Program Type it would show the Program, the Grade & the IEP code) .
