Section 25 Partial FTE

Checked if the student gets a Section 25 component record.  This indicates the student enrolled in your district after the closing of the Fall General Collection and before the count date for the Spring General Collection. The Section 25 record is used to request a pro-rated share FTE for the student.

Leave the box unchecked if the student should not receive a Section 25 record.

The SDS Download makes the student's First Day in Attendance the first available membership date on or after the student's Entry Date, unless you enter an override in the Section 25 Start Date Override field.

XML Components: Section 25

Section 25 Start Date Override

Override date to report in the Section 25 component as the student's First Day in Attendance.  Use this only in a case where you do not want to report the student's first membership day, for instance if the student were enrolled but absent. You could use the override to indicate the first day the student is actually in school.

Out of Level Grade

Checked to indicate when a district is correctly reporting the student in an out-of-level grade that does not match the actual grades indicated in the Educational Entry Master as offered by the entity being reported.

In other words, if the student is in a grade level that does not appear in Actual Grades for the school in the EEM, then check the Out of Level Grade box.
