Use this page to maintain information about your Special Education students for State Reporting. Any fields on the page that are hyperlinks are linked to Programs and can be updated by going to Registration > Entry & Reports > Student Demographic > Programs.

Field	Description
IEP Disability Status	Click the hyperlink to update the Special Ed – IEP Status (state code equiv of MDDISABL) program for the student. This field is linked to the IEP Status field on the Personal page. The information can be updated from either page and the results appear on both pages. The data is only being stored in one place.
Has IEP	Click the hyperlink to update the Special Ed line of the Special Education (state code equiv of MDSPECED) program for the student. This field is linked to the IEP field on the Personal page. The information can be updated from either page and the results appear on both pages. The data is only being stored in one place.
Special Ed Exit Reason	Click the hyperlink to update the Special Ed Exit Reason line of the Special Education (state code equiv of MDSPEXIT) program for the student. If student has SE Exit code A, I, or J then the Special Education field in the EOY Attendance Report = E If student has SE Exit code B - G then the Special Education field in the EOY Attendance Report = Y
Sp Ed Certificate (Diploma)	Use this field to update the Diploma type for the Special Ed student. This field is linked to the Diploma Type field on the Academic page. The information can be updated from either page and the results appear on both pages. The data is only being stored in one place.
504 Plan	Click the hyperlink to update the 504 program (state code equiv of MD504) for the Special Ed student. This field is linked to the 504 Plan field on the Personal page. The information can be updated from either page and the results appear on both pages. The data is only being stored in one place.
