Low –Income Families (Economically Disadvantaged)

Count of students that have an active program from the prompted list and date for the current building.

reg_programs - (converted state code equiv value ILFRL)

Section 1 D

Regular Grades Served

Use the Exclusive Special Education grades.

Pre-K Bilingual, Pre-K Special Ed, and Post Graduate prompts

A list of all the grades in the current building that are used for Regular served Grades.

Get the distinct grades and state_equiv_codes from Registration ( reg.grade) for all the 'active' students for the current building excluding  (not in) those in the 'Exclusive Special Grades' list.

To identify which grades are to be marked as used in the report, use the state_equiv_code:

  • Pre-K is state_equiv codes 13 and 14
  • K is equiv code 15
  • Grade 1 is equiv code 01,
  • Grade 2 is equiv code 02.
  • Etc. through Grade 12.

Use the prompts Pre-K Bilingual, Pre-K Special Ed, and Post Graduate to identify if those grades are used.

Section 1 E

Which Kindergarten options used.
 

Uses the following:

  • All Day, Every Day Grade,
  • All Day on Alternate days Grade,
  • And Half Day, Every Day Grade

Determine which option the School is using by seeing if any student's have this grade level (See reg.grade for 'active'  students in the current building).

This indicator should be determined within the process for Section 1 F since it is the same students and query.

Section 1 F

Number of Kindergarten students.

Uses the following:

  • All Day , Every Day Grade,
  • All Day on Alternate days Grade,
  • And Half Day , Every Day Grade prompts

A count of students by ethnicity and race that are in the given grades for each Kindergarten option by Ethnicity and gender.

Use the State Code Equiv value to place the count appropriately.

State Equiv codes for Ethnicity:

  • White = 05
  • Black = 03
  • American Indian/Alaskan Native = 01
  • Asian or Pacific Islander = 02
  • Hispanic = 04
  • Multi Racial = 06

Students In

Count of 'active' students from the current building with a different Home District that the current district.  ( See the reg.home_district and reg.district fields).

Section 2 B

Students Out

Count of 'active' students from the current building with a different attending District that the current district.  ( See the reg.attending_district and reg.district fields).

Section 2 C

Total Number of Students housed in building.

Count of 'active' students broken down by Grade/ Ethnicity/ Gender for current building.

Use the state_equiv_code :

  • Pre-K is state_equiv codes 13 and 14
  • K is equiv code 15
  • Grade 1 is equiv code 01,
  • Grade 2 is equiv code 02.
  • Etc. through Grade 12.

Use the prompts:

  • Pre-K Bilingual,
  • Pre-K Special Ed
  • Post Graduate to identify if those grades are used

Ethnicity same as Section 1 F.

Use the State Code Equiv value to place the count appropriately.

Gender use reg.gender ( M or F)

Grade totals are provided as well.

Section 3 A

Any students from non-English background?

Count of the 'active' students that have a reg.language (converted to regtb_language.state_code_equiv) other than English which is '000'  Students with NULL in this field will not be counted.  

Or,

Have an 'active program' in program tracking with state code equiv of  ILLEP.

 

Language Group/ Column A/ Column B

Get the student counts for each state_code_equiv Language code.

In the Language Column: list the description from the regtb_lanuage table for the state_equiv_codes found.
