CRDC School Report (OCR Building Setup, Run OCR Reports)

This release includes the DISC-1a to DISC-1d fields added to the CRDC Report and updated the other DISC fields as per the latest CRDC School Form update.

• UI Changes
  Four new fields have been added to the OCR Building Setup page, located in the Miscellaneous panel under School Information. These fields are available as checkboxes with associated questions:

  • DISC-1a: Preschool English Learner Indicator
    Does this school assess/evaluate preschool children to determine if they are English Learners (EL)?

  • DISC-1b: Preschool English Learner Identification Indicator
    Does this school have any preschool children already identified as English Learners (EL), when they enrolled?

  • DISC-1c: Preschool Section 504 Indicator
    Does this school assess/evaluate preschool children to determine if they are disabled and eligible for services under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973?

  • DISC-1d: Preschool Section 504 Identification Indicator
    Does this school have any preschool children already identified as disabled and eligible for services under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, when they enrolled?

• PDF Report Changes
  The four fields are added to the PDF School Report. To generate this report, go to menu path: Regulatory, Civil Rights Data Collection, Reports, and then select Run OCR Reports.

• Flat File Changes
  The four fields are included in the CRDC Building Flat file, accessible at the menu path: Regulatory, Civil Rights Data Collection, Reports, and then select Run OCR Reports.

  • SCH_DISC_ENGL_ID_IND

• Updates to DISC fields in PDF School Report
  The following adjustments have been made to existing DISC fields in alignment with the latest school year reporting requirements:

  • DISC-2: Removed from the CRDC PDF report.

  • DISC-1: Renamed to DISC-2.

  • DISC-7: Removed from the report and combined with DISC-6.

  • Subsequent Renaming: Fields DISC-8 through DISC-27 have been sequentially renamed to maintain numbering consistency (for example, DISC-8 becomes DISC-7, DISC-9 becomes DISC-8, up to DISC-27 now becoming DISC-26).

• Updates to DISC fields on the UI
  The following adjustments have been made in alignment with the latest school year reporting requirements:

  • DISC-2: Do not use DISC-2 on the UI, the field is present on the UI but will not function as it is no longer in use.

  • DISC-7: Removed from the UI.

  • Under the Preschool Instances of Discipline Actions panel, the column name All Students has been renamed to Students Without Disabilities to reflect that data is being pulled specifically from this group.

  • DISC-6: Split into two separate fields under the Instances of Discipline Actions panel.

  • DISC-11: Renamed to DISC-10.

  • DISC-22: Renamed to DISC-21.

  The four fields are added to the PDF School Report. To generate this report, go to menu path: Regulatory, Civil Rights Data Collection, Reports, and then select Run OCR Reports.

• Updates to PSCH fields in PDF School Report
  Adjustments have been made to existing DISC and PSCH fields to meet current school year reporting standards:

  • PSCH-2: Renamed to PSCH-3.

  • PSCH-3a: Renamed to PSCH-4a.

  • PSCH-3b: Renamed to PSCH-4b.

  • PSCH-4: Renamed to PSCH-5.

  • PSCH-5: Renamed to PSCH-6.

CRDC LEA Form (OCR Summary, Run OCR Reports)

Updated the OCR Summary and OCR Report pages as per the latest CRDC LEA Form reporting changes.
Two new questions, DSED-2 and HSEE-2, have been added to the question dropdown menu on the OCR Summary page when the form type D - District (LEA) is selected for the 2023-2024 School Year:

Additionally, two rows have been added for the following categories:

• English Learner (EL)

• Students with Disabilities (IDEA)

These rows have been incorporated into the UI for the DSED-2 and HSEE-2 questions. The OCR Report, which previously displayed a value of 0, will now show the actual data.
