Create Global IDs for Users

Use the Create Global IDs utility to update the Global IDs for users in a database using a format based on the user's email address or login ID.

  1. From the District Information window, click Create Global IDs.

  2. Select the field to use as the basis for the ID. Then if needed, specify text in the Prefix or Suffix fields.

  3. Select the users to update.

  4. To update Global IDs for all users, select the Overwrite checkbox. Otherwise, only users without a Global ID will be updated.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Confirm that you want to update the Global ID.
